Import Documents

Following standard documents are required to be submitted to Indian Customs for Import Clearance with self attestment.

  • Invoice
  • Packing List.
  • Bill of Lading (Duly discharged by bank if a bank name is appearing on B/L as consignee) OR.
  • Cargo Arrival Notice / Freight Certificate.
  • Certificate of Origin
  • Certificate of Insurance / Insurance Premium Receipt
  • Purchase Order / Indent / Contract / Proforma Invoice / Order Confirmation
  • End Use Letter
  • Letter of Credit (If any)Literature / Certificate of Analysis / Test Certificate / Catalogue / Drawing / Technical Write up
  • Import Declaration
  • GATT Valuation Declaration
Please note that the concerned authorities can call for any additional documents depending on the nature of goods and classification / notification claimed.
